Omni Med School Health Programs
Omni Med believes in empowering the next generation to improve the health of their communities. Since 2017, we have partnered with schools in Mukono District to deliver interactive, practical health education. Our School Health Program equips primary and secondary students with tools to prevent common diseases, promote hygiene, and share knowledge with their families. Through these efforts, we use schools as a foundation for community change — reaching hundreds of children, parents, and households each year.

What We Teach
Our curriculum addresses Uganda’s most pressing health concerns in age-appropriate, engaging ways. Lessons include:

-
Germs & Sanitation – Understanding how germs spread, and practicing effective handwashing.
-
Malaria – Recognizing symptoms, using bed nets, and preventing mosquito bites.
-
Diarrhea & Clean Water – Safe water handling, ORS preparation, and sanitation practices.
-
HIV & Sexual Health – Awareness, prevention, and breaking stigma.
-
Female Pad Use & Menstrual Hygiene – Promoting dignity, confidence, and health for adolescent girls.

Each session includes interactive activities, such as group games, songs, drawings, and health demonstrations, making lessons memorable and practical.
